The Jr. Rednecks took to the water
first equipped with poles looking for a fun time. No, sadly that is not
them at right...those are the adult rednecks in search of only one
thing, those strange carp jumping from the Bath Chute of the Illinois
River.
Now, this is one of those things you just have to come see for yourself and I am not going to try to explain it any further, the photos below will show you how much fun these folks are really having.
It all continues Saturday with heats from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per boat. Live bands play again at the Boat Tavern, which has refreshments for sale. Call Betty DeFord at 309-546-2545.
